This crisp and fresh winter salad—starring tender steak, fennel, pear, and pine nuts—brings the perfect balance of flavors and textures to the table.

  • Kale; washed, de-stemmed, and chopped
  • Shaved fennel
  • Asian pear; peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • Toasted pine nuts
  • Leeks, thinly sliced and sautéed
  • Certified Piedmontese flank steak, grilled or broiled and sliced

Simple Vinaigrette

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons champagne vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon stone ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredients in a bowl or jar and whisk or shake until emulsified.
