Asian-Inspired Meatballs
Easy Recipe

Meatballs are a classic favorite, but they also make a great appetizer. Variations are endless, but the Asian-inspired flavors in this creative twist are sure to be a hit at your next get-together.

  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup + 1 teaspoon soy sauce, divided
  • 1 pound Certified Piedmontese ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste

In a large bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, and ground beef. Mix well.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Place in a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked all the way through.

In a large saucepan, combine the vinegar, tomato paste, honey, and remaining soy sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Add the meatballs; heat through. Serve.
