Ginger-Scallion Marinade

- 2 cups chopped scallions
- ½ cup minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sambal olek*
- ½ tablespoon fresh black pepper
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- *Available in the ethnic foods aisle of most grocery stores, or in Asian food markets
In the bowl of a blender of food processor, combine all ingredients except oil and blend for 2 to 3 minutes. With the blender or food processor on, slowly add oil and blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
