Southwestern Cinnamon Rub

- 1½ teaspoons cumin seed
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper
Combine all ingredients and apply to your favorite steaks, roasts, or burgers. Refrigeratefor approximately 2 to 4 hours, allowing the ingredients to meld together for optimal flavor. Cook as desired. Store extra rub in an airtight container.
