Tikka Masala Sauce

- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon chile powder
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 4 cups coconut milk
- 1½ teaspoons saffron
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
In a medium pan over low heat, toast spices for about five minutes. Add olive oil, garlic, and onions. Turn the heat up to medium, add the coconut milk and saffron, and simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste. Remove from heat and fold in yogurt and fresh cilantro.
